Pillars for Teaching and Learning Mathematics
Pillars for Teaching and Learning Mathematics is a framework that supports improvement and sustained growth in Kindergarten to Grade 12 mathematics education in Manitoba. This resource was initiated by Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning and developed in collaboration with members of the provincial Numeracy Leaders’ Network. The framework provides educators with a starting point for reflection, discussion, and learning. It will set direction for professional learning and help reinforce consistent language and practices for the teaching and learning of mathematics in Manitoba.
