Community Schools Program

Participating Schools

A significant number of schools across Manitoba have and continue to adopt a community schools philosophy. There are 48 schools in the department’s Community Schools Program. Schools that receive program funding are required by legislation to assign an employee of the division or district to act as a community liaison, community connector or community support worker. The role of a community liaison is outlined in the legislation.
