The two-day symposium, held November 14-15, 2023 at the Victoria Inn and Conference Centre (1808 Wellington Avenue, Winnipeg), will engage Superintendents, School Division Senior Leadership, Principals/Vice-Principals, School Division Indigenous Education Leads, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, Trustees, School Support Teams, Child Care Centre Directors, Child Care Home-based Providers, and Early Childhood Educators in sessions and presentations. This opportunity for shared thinking and collective learning will be inclusive of Community Schools, Building Student Success with Indigenous Parents in Schools, Elders and Knowledge Keepers Initiative, and Early Learning and Child Care to explore each of the Strategies and Actions within Mamàhtawisiwin: The Wonder We Are Born With—an Indigenous Education Policy Framework.
