Access to Menstrual Products: Initiative in Manitoba Schools
The Manitoba government is distributing free menstrual products to school divisions and funded independent schools, as well as agencies, domestic violence shelters, resource centres, and specialized programs identified by Manitoba Status of Women Secretariat.

Manitoba Physical Activity Safety in Schools (MPASS)
Manitoba Physical Activity Safety in Schools (MPASS) is a comprehensive safety and risk management resource for physical activity, physical education, field trips, and interscholastic sports in Manitoba schools.

Connecting Mental Health Literacy and Well-Being to the Physical Education / Health Education Curriculum
The Public Health Agency of Canada defines mental health as “the capacity of each and all of us to feel, think, act in ways that enhance our ability to enjoy life and deal with the challenges we face.” (PHAC) Positive mental health is essential for the school environment. When students are mentally healthy, they enjoy contributing to school life, are willing to explore and take healthy risks, and are able to manage stressors and adversity.

Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity (MVPA)
This Fact Sheet and Poster provide teachers, students, and parents with a clear understanding of Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity (MVPA), and explain how to determine whether a student is performing physical activity at the appropriate level as well as how MVPA is applied within the K-12 Manitoba Physical Education curriculum.

Cannabis Information and Resources
Addictions Foundation of Manitoba (AFM) Cannabis package contains Infographics and Fact Sheets relating to Cannabis use in Canada, Tips to prevent and minimize Cannabis related harm amongst youth, and research on perceptions youth have on Cannabis.

These evidence-based resources were developed by Dr. Stan Kutcher in partnership with Dr. Selene Etches (IWK Health Centre), Dr. Phil Tibbo (Nova Scotia Health Authority/Dalhousie University) and Dr. Rob Milin (University of Ottawa). There are four different posters geared towards students, teachers, caregivers, and school-based student care providers.

Physical Education/Health Education (PE/HE) Planning Tool (Draft)
This tool has been developed through the collaborative efforts of representatives from Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning, the Manitoba Physical Education Supervisors’ Association (MPESA) and the Manitoba Physical Education Teachers’ Association (MPETA) to further support teachers in the delivery of the Kindergarten to Grade 12 PE/HE Manitoba Curriculum Framework of Outcomes for Active Healthy Lifestyles.
