Language Arts Practices, Orientation Guide, Français arts langagiers – immersion, Kindergarten to Grade 12 and English Language Arts – Immersion, Grades 1 to 12 identifies principles for using dialogue and reflexivity (thinking together) as the preferred approaches for learning language arts and are foundational to the curriculum’s aim and goals.
This guide applies to both language arts subject areas, Français arts langagiers – immersion and English Language Arts – Immersion, given the similar approaches used when teaching and learning these languages.
Please note that Français (Programme d’immersion française) will henceforth be called Français arts langagiers – immersion.
This guide is intended for teachers, consultants, principals, and divisional administrators.
