French Immersion Program

Learning experiences and assessment practices support learner growth and well-being and their understanding of Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing to engage in and advance Truth and Reconciliation

The learning environment, learning experiences and assessment practices must allow the learner to engage in a process of reconciliation within the framework of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. In this way, the learner will be able to recognize and understand different historical perspectives and worldviews that contributed to the establishment of Canada, the contribution of Indigenous peoples and the harm caused by colonization.
