Advanced Education and Training

International Education

The department of Advanced Education and Training is responsible for international education.

The department helps coordinate the Government of Manitoba's international activities by working closely with Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning and the Manitoba Council for International Education - on international education initiatives.

The department performs many functions including:

• serving as a first point of contact for international education matters
• developing international education policy and legislation
• working with Manitoba institutions and organizations to coordinate international student recruitment
• building capacity for greater involvement in international education
• responding to inquiries and requests from international students, agents, and institutional partners
