Grade 3 and 4 Assessment
The Grade 3 and 4 Assessment helps to improve student learning by identifying, early in the school year, students’ strengths and needs in key competencies in numeracy and reading and provides summative information about student achievement in these areas. This assessment is crucial for identifying learning needs and ensuring students are on track as they continue through their educational journey.

The data presented include students in Grade 3 (all programs) and 4 (French Immersion) in public schools, First Nations schools administered by school divisions, funded independent schools, and participating non-funded schools.

This dashboard shows the percentage of Grade 3 and 4 students who are meeting expectations in all four sub-competencies of Numeracy and all three sub-competencies of Reading in both English and French.
