Manitoba’s Student-Tracked High School Graduation Rate

High school graduation is generally viewed as the minimum requirement for pursuing additional education and entering the workforce.

In Manitoba, high school graduation typically occurs within four years of starting Grade 9. For some students additional time may be necessary to obtain their credits and graduate.

The data presented includes a cohort of first-time Grade 9 students from public schools (excluding First Nations schools administered by school divisions) and funded independent schools.

This dashboard presents Manitoba’s student-tracked high school graduation rates calculated as the percentage of students who graduate within four, five or six years of entering Grade 9 for the first time.
