Middle Years Assessment
The Middle Years Assessment enhances student learning through classroom-based assessment processes that build student awareness and confidence in learning. It also provides summative information about the levels of achievement in key areas that Middle Years students have attained by the end of January.

The data presented include students in Grades 7 and 8 in public schools, First Nations schools administered by school divisions, funded independent schools, and participating non-funded schools.

This dashboard shows the percentage of students meeting mid-grade performance in all five sub-competencies of Grade 7 Numeracy (number sense and number skills) and in all three sub-competencies of both Grade 8 Reading Comprehension and Expository Writing.
