Rural and Northern Clinician Bursary
The purpose of Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning’s Rural and Northern Clinician Bursary is to support the recruitment and retention of staff in specialized professions and hard to fill geographic areas.
Toward this end, Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning is providing funding to school divisions so that they can provide bursary assistance to teachers or local university students who are willing to obtain further training in speech-language pathology, psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy or other specialty areas such as interpreter tutors.
In return for receiving the bursary, individuals agree to work in a school division for two years upon graduation.
